Dries Mushrooms
Fresh mushrooms will keep for 4 days in the refrigerator. Dry them and you can store them for more than a year.
(Fresh truffles lose their potency after about 6 weeks. Dryed, they will keep for many years!) \n \nA heating mat is better than a fruit dryer because: \n
- No noise, lightweight, small
- Cannot overheat
- Low power consumption
Never place the GROWBOX on the mat! This can easily cause the mycelium cake to dry out and be destroyed within days! Also suitable for sclerotia, herbs, berries, and even socks. Maximum temperature: 45°C - can run 24/7 - safe! Usage Switch on and spread out the fresh mushrooms (directly on the mat or on a tea towel). Leave them until they are crispy, then store the mushrooms in a dark, airtight container. Unplug, wipe the mat clean, and store it for next use. \n
Use it indoors in a well-ventilated area.
